This lecture shall provide a summary of new California employment laws, effective in 2024.

• The course shall outline compliance from the perspective of the dental practice (or specialty practice) owner.
  

• --California prides itself on being the most employee-friendly state and this coming year is no exception. The prudent practitioner shall be educated on the content and application of these new laws as well as pitfalls to avoid.
  

Additionally, the program will provide an overview of cyber security best practices from a HIPAA-compliance perspective.

About the speaker: Julia Goldman ESQ. grew up in Marin County and followed her parents’ footsteps into the legal field. She graduated with her political science degree from California State University, Chico, in 2011. Thereafter, she attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2014.
